The Pre-Meeting AI Briefing: A New Standard for Preparation

A structured briefing in your pocket 5 minutes before every confirmed meeting — counterparty summary, common ground, concrete collaboration angles.

Schedulo··6 min read

You have a meeting at the event in 12 minutes. Who is the other side? What do they want? What's the common ground? The difference between walking in prepared and walking in cold is the difference between a pleasant hallway chat and a 6-week sales cycle.

In Schedulo, the pre-meeting AI briefing closes that gap.

What's in a Briefing?

About five minutes before every confirmed meeting, a card lands in the attendee's pocket:

  • Summary — Who they are, what they do
  • Common Ground — Intersections in industry, city, interests
  • Collaboration Angles — Concrete commercial paths: distribution partnership,

customer referral, joint project

Is the LLM Actually Writing It?

Yes — gpt-4o-mini in JSON mode. Crucially: we don't let the model invent common ground. The intersections are computed in code and handed to the model as facts. This is grounded LLM generation — it caps hallucination risk structurally.

No Briefing for Your Own Colleagues

When two attendees from the same company meet, Schedulo skips the briefing. Writing prep about a teammate would just be noise.

Fallback

When the LLM is unavailable, the briefing falls back to a deterministic template and is flagged as "not AI-generated". The attendee still sees a card.

Closing

Grounded generation + same-company filter + resilient fallback = a trustworthy field assistant. Every meeting starts prepared.
